Songs:

Body Brave
Hush Hush
Always Know
Washing Machine
Our Lady (Sheelagh's Song)
Half Hangit Maggie
Body Brave

This is my body, my body she is brave
This is my heart, she knows the future
This is my body, my being, they are one
My body, my being, she is strong

Hush Hush

Hush hush, hush hush x2

Hush hush, don’t say a word, oh
Hush hush, you must not be heard, oh
Hush hush hush, oh it’s our little secret
Don’t say a word my pretty bairnie

Hush hush, you could be any child
Hush hush, rich or poor or meek or wild
Hush hush hush, and still the years go slowly un-
Til you’re no longer a bairnie

Woah
Every child is worth more than their weight in gold
Everyone was a child once, but now we’re old
Every child is worth more than their weight in gold
Everyone was a child once, but now we’re old

Always Know

Always know you are my beloved
Never doubt that is what you are
You’re a child of light, and the angels
You’re a child of light, and the stars
Washing Machine – Joanie Bones

Oh washing machine, you wash my clothes like a dream
Oh washing machine, I love you washing machine

You save me hours and hours of time
I think that in itself is quite fine

No more scrub a dub down by the river
No more scrub a dub down by the sea
No more carrying loads of everyone’s dirty clothes
And having no time for me
Our Lady (Sheelagh’s Song) – Sheelagh Na Gig of Rodel and Joanie Bones

As I watch you from my tower
Yay yay yay yay yeah io io
Do I scare you with my power?
Yay yay yay yay yeah
Our lady

Yay yay yay yay yay yay yeah
io io
Yay yay yay yay yay yay yeah
Our lady

(I am) made of stone and no-one knows me
Yay yay yay yay yeah io io
That’s part of the mystery
Yay yay yay yay yeah
Of our lady

Yay yay yay yay yay yay yeah
io io
Yay yay yay yay yay yay yeah
Our lady

Brother, sister, father, daughter
Yeah, yeah, yeah, io io
Do you give it where you ought to?
Yay yay yay yay yeah
To our lady

Yeah yeah yeah…
Half Hangit Maggie

Half Hangit Maggie, Half Hangit maggie
She was hung on the gallows because she hid her babby
String her up and cut her down and chuck her body in the ground

Half Hangit Maggie, Half Hangit maggie
Hang-ed on the gallows because she hid her babby
String her up and cut her down and chuck her body in the ground

I hear a knockin from in the coffin
A scratchy scratchin, a raspy coughing
Open it and get her out and turn the cart back to town

Oh what to do?
What to do? What to do?
Oh what to do?
What to do? What to do?

Free her! Hang her again! Let her go! Hang her again! ….
Free her! Hang her again! Let her go! Hang her again!
Free her! Hang her again! Let her go! Hang her again!
Free her! Hang her again! Let her go! Let her go!

Who are we to fight with God almighty?
We judge the law, he sin and piety
If he wants her to live then her life’s not ours to give

Half Hangit Maggie, Half Hangit maggie
Half hanged on the gallows because she hid her babby
Now she owns a pub in town
Raise your glass and drink it down

Free her! (What to do? What to do?) Let her go!
Free her! (What to do? What to do?) Let her go!
Free her! (What to do? What to do?) Let her go!
Free her! Let her go!
