SPRING EQUINOX DEVOTIONAL SINGING HOLIDAY, MARCH 18-23, 2023
Spend time soaking in the magical power of the Isle of Lewis in north west Scotland, a place of divine feminine power and part of the Hebrides, abode of the goddess Bride, in this spring singing gathering devoted to celebrating the goddess, whatever that means to you.
As our way of connecting to the divine feminine, every day will start and end with a singing circle - just spontaneous, joyful singing. No lyric sheets or leaders or an expectation to know any particular song, though everyone is asked to bring songs in their heart to share. Joanie's singing holidays are usually attended by folk who simply love to spontaneously sing with others, a chance for confident singers to get together and enjoy the power of singing and harmonising together without the need for a leader.
Beyond the singing the time is yours to use however you please - if you're in the mood for quiet contemplation or striding out along the wild coast, however you choose. Nothing is obligatory - we are free! This is, above all, a holiday. We usually visit some of the crazily beautiful places the island offers, including the famous Callanais stones, and organise ourselves so those who want to do things together can, and those who don't feel no pressure.
We will share songs, the cooking and washing up!
If you love to sing and love the goddess, this is the place for you. She will be so glad you came.
And just in case you're wondering, the holiday is open to all genders.
